Question lowered ?

planning on lowering my 83 to a nice 4" 5" drop using spindle,spring combo in the front and a flip kit in the rear any comments on this ? i am looking for a set of 16" impala wheels to put in it i hope the offset is ok.

The Impala wheels should work fine. I know a guy that put them on his 49 Studebaker that has late 70's suspension and it works perfect.

Impala SS wheels are 17", but they will fit. They are going to be tucked in and inch more than the factory 15x8's though.

I had some Impala wheels on my 87, but the backspacking made the rear look real narrow. I decided to put on some 1.5" wheel spacers. Before the truck was stolen I pulled them off and sold the wheels. If you think you might be interested, just drop me a line.
