need rear leaf help TONIGHT!!!

I started putting my new 2" lifted leaf springs in my '89 suburban 2wd 1/2 ton tonight.

I'm still working on getting the old ones out...

Here's the problem:

How do I get the front leaf spring bolts out? It looks like I may need a stubby wrench to put on the nut of the front bolt because that's the only thing that can fit in there. Can somebody confirm that? I'm afraid a stubby may even be too long.

The next problem is this. The right side was no problem for the rest of the spring removal. However, on the left side, the "wheel well" from the spare tire inside the rear left of the suburban comes down and blocks me from removing the rear leaf spring bolt. Do I have to remove that spare tire "wheel well???" Or, is there another option.

Thanks for any help!!

The rear end was supposed to be the easy part!!! Looks like this 3" lift may turn into a 2-weekend project...
