Found some rims

I was visiting a friend in Swan Hills, Alberta, over the weekend, and after testing the new Jeep in the thick stuff, I found out I needed hungrier tires to have any real fun. So he told me about these old Camaro 14"s he had laying around.

I took them home, and planned on drilling the Jeep bolt circle into the face, making it a 10-hole Chevy/Mopar universal. Turns out, Jeep needed the 15"s for a reason, and they little Camaro turbines will never clear the brakes.

I still want to use them on my Chevy though. So before I get myself too worked up, will these fit over stock Chevy C10 brakes? I'm going to try them when I get home tonight, but I'd still like to know in the mean time, if you can tell me. If they do fit, they won't be getting off-road tires. There's not much point with a 2-WD. Something meaty, but not knobby. Actually, probably an all-terain/all-season, since I only drive this thing in the winter.

Thanks.

Would it still be worth drilling the 5" bolt circle? Seems a shame to let these rims go to waste.

You need 15" rims to clear the brakes. 14" is a no go.

Either way, I don't think you should ever "add" your own holes to a wheel engineered to only have 5 holes in it, unless you have access to finite element analysis software, especially for a 3,800 pound truck.

Would the billet bolt pattern adapters work?
