What’s this tube?
08 truck 5.3. Wondering what this tube is and what should I do with it. Goes into the valve cover so I’m guessing crank case vent? ( pic is sideways)

Re: What’s this tube?
It is the fresh air after MAF to crank case vent. The rear of the driverside valve cover has a line to the top if the intake.

Re: What’s this tube?
Thanks. So hopefully whatever air intake set up I end up with has provisions to plug this in.

Re: What’s this tube?
Most aftermarket cold air intakes have a little 5/16” stub to hook a tube to the goes to the valve cover.
