Suburban headliner & bows

The headliner is original and in good shape but has had black padded cover installed over it. The material on the one I checked was not glued to the face of the headliner. It has 1" foam under it and then pulled around and stapled with mini staples from the back. $100 plus shipping for the 4 pcs

Re: Suburban headliner & bows

Heliarcn asked about these so i will give him 24 hrs then open to all

Bows came out without damage. I even separated them to make sure they were not brittle along the tracks. I will say these are probably a 6 out of 10. They are way nicer than any others I have had but they still have a nick here and scratch there. The Chrome on the back side is very nice. The 3rd bow that is cracked has nothing missing and could possibly be glued and buffed up. I would like to sell it all together for $150 shipped. I will wrap all the chrome strips separately so nothing can rub during shipping. It is almost impossible to get great pictures of this stuff but here goes.

Re: Suburban headliner & bows

I really appreciate you giving me the first shot here, but I'm going to pass. I have a set that's in similar condition and was looking for something a little nicer. Thanks again Richard.

I will take the bows and clips. If you're not in a terrible hurry for payment as I'm working all weekend, but I can possibly get my secretary to push it through faster (sinice it is for her truck!)
Thanks

Re: Suburban headliner & bows

Shipping on the 4 headliner pcs to 77401?
And any chance the black coverings can come off for a look at the actual pieces?
Thanks in advance...

They just barely fit size wise for UPS but are considered oversize. Basically that means the weight won't matter. Just priced for someone else out west and it was a little over $200 to ship which probably means they will end up local pickup. Unless you are still seriously interested I would rather not remove all the covering at this time. If you are still interested it may be a few days. Have been having chest pains most of the day so may end up in hospital before over with.

Re: Suburban headliner & bows

Wow... Obviously chest pains take priority! Hope all is okay...

But I am interested in the headliners if they are not cracked and/or broken.
Fastenal might be a good option. There is one close by that I have had other large items shipped to.

I'm in no hurry, but would like first shot - AFTER you take care of yourself and feel up to it.
Thanks

If you were planning on using this headliner without a cover on it, I would say pass on it. The staples we just long enough going thru the back to damage the front side all the way around the perimeter of them. They are also discolored like it may have been a smoking rig before it was redone. Also, one of the sections I dropped while getting it out and popped a hole in it grrr.

I'm actually interested in using them as templates. If you think they are usable for that and you can get them here in one piece, I'll take them.

That is pretty much what I think they are usable for is either patterns or recovering. I would ship them with the old covering and foam on them to help protect them. Let me get the crate figured out then we can go from there. If you have not already, PM your complete address so i can get exact shipping once I figure up the crate size.

Thanks
Richard
