caliper/rotor questions...

putting together a project that i bought that had a bunch of pieces with it. It is a 66 and has CPP drop spindles. I am needing to replace the rotors that came with it as they have rusted from sitting and pitted etc.. On the rotor, there is a number stamped, "PT27K9" How do i find out what rotors i need or can use? It will be a disc/drum setup. I will need to pickup calipers etc as well so i am trying to figure out what year(s)/model i need to be looking at in the parts stores...any help appreciated..

Re: caliper/rotor questions...

Are they 5 lug or 6 lug rotors? 5 lug you can buy any 1.25" thick C10 from '73-'87 (around '80 they offered a 1" version, you want the 1.25" thick ones). If they are 6 lug, you will have to buy them from a vendor like Classic Enterprise, CPP and such as GM never offered that era C10 in 6 lug and they are custom made for the vendors.

As for calipers, again any '73-'87 ones for the 1.25" thick rotors. These are commonly known as D52 style calipers. They do not matter if 5 or 6 lug rotors.
