who has best price on fuel injection kits?

Who has the best price on fuel injections kits?

I have a stock Chevy 350 in my '84 burb. It runs good. In the future I'm looking to upgrade to mild heads, cam, intake. But before any of that I'm looking to possibly convert to fuel injection in the very near future. I've researched and read articles for several years on different vendors; FiTech, Holley, Fast, and others.

What I'm really looking for here is suggestions on where to get the best price for a complete system.

Thanks

Re: who has best price on fuel injection kits?

I currently have the FiTech Go EFI 600.

They also have this for around $750.

.
If I was shopping now, I'd probably go with a bigger brand name. Holley, Edlebrock, or...

Re: who has best price on fuel injection kits?

That is a very basic and broad question. What is your budget? Are you wanting a TBI or port injection? Are you wanting Timing control also?

Re: who has best price on fuel injection kits?

Thanks for the responses. I'd thought about FiTech. I've seen some very good, long-term reviews and some not so good reviews. From the info I've been gathering over the last few years it seem like the Holley Sniper system may be the way I go, but that FiTech price is hard for me to look away. Probably the best price I've found for an full system which includes fuel pump, filters, and such is from www.tdmotion.com.
https://tdmotion.com/product/fitech-...ction-systems/
It looks like what I'm interested in for a good price, though still higher than I was hoping for. My goal was a complete kit, fuel pump and all, for "hopefully" in the $600-700 range.

They also have a Holley system I like
https://tdmotion.com/product/holley-...-efi-kit-gold/
But it's a tad bit over the budget I've set.

*************
The motor's a stock Chevy 350 from a mid '80s Suburban. I'm looking at installing a Summit Racing Top End power package.
https://www.summitracing.com/parts/s...-390?rrec=true
I'm hoping for around 350-400 hp at the crank. The vehicle will be just a cruiser with a little umph.

Re: who has best price on fuel injection kits?

Yes, the reviews are pretty much all 5 stars. It may be rude on my part, but I would say most of the bad reviews are user error. Poor ground, poor o2 sensor installation, or troubles with the fuel delivery install.

Re: who has best price on fuel injection kits?

just go look at the edelbrock pro flo 4 and read up on all thats included and how the tablet or your phone can control it and changes are INSTANT . plus the pro flo 4 is sequential port injection over wet flow basic tbi unit .

i had a sniper and had 500 miles of hell and 3 month to fight to get a refund . http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...ghlight=sniper

i went edelbrock and wished i had from the start . and customer support after is way better on the phone and there chat forum page . there own techs do a LOT of the reply to help posting .

Re: who has best price on fuel injection kits?

We went Holley Sniper w/ Master Kit from Summit, and after some initial issues that were due to the ignition system, we're very happy with it - the truck's never run this well, and mileage went from 11=12 to 14-ish.

I found the holley forums to be quite helpful.

I'll also comment that apparently ANY EFI system not only needs a sound engine, the ignition system and electrical wiring MUST be 100%. EFI will highlight any weaknesses - for example, a slight ignition miss that you'd be hard-pressed to hear/feel will show up as a false lean AFR, then the EFI will richen things up, leading to a spiral that'll drive you to drinking. Make SURE your electrical system is 100%, including the alternator, ignition setup, wire routing, etc etc etc.

Just finished up on installing a holley Sniper, this will be 6 snipers installed. Each customer has been pleased with the results/installations.
