How do I lower a K5 2 wd

There doesn't seem to be a kit available to lower the rear of a 1977 2 wheel drive K5 4". What problems do you encounter with a C10 shackle hanger kit? Can it be made to work? Is there another way short of a flip kit and then raising it slightly with a 4X4 hanger. Dearching and/or removing leaves? Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks

Pulling leaf springs will give you wheel hop.
I've done dropped leaf springs and a longer rear shackle, but that gets into re-routing the fuel filler hose.
I like the flip kit and 4x4 rear hanger method.
That gives the best stance, but you will need to c-notch the frame.
Aftermarket 4-link is another option.

I believe they are different.
Crown Suspension sells a "blazer specific" notch.
I'm sure there are a few other companies that do also.

I used these on my '78 and they worked great. Definitely different than the c10 versions.

Here’s how I lowered mine. No notch and it’s never bottomed on the frame.
