Random frame question.

I’ve been wondering, and to done it might be obvious but why dose the frame on the 60-66’s jog around the rear axle? They changed it on the latter trucks but why these? Also dose it have to stay that way or can you replace the back half so it’s straight? Just curious. Thanks in advance.

The reason most frames have the jog is for suspension travel. Also the frames are not the same from 60 to 66. The 60 to 62 X frames are much different than the 63 to 66.

That's a new one for me. Are you talking about a side to side jog? I didn't notice this on my frame.

Do you have pics of this area?
