You mean you still have room for more? Just curious, do you have more preference towards 1/2 tons, 3/4 tons , 4x4's, GMC's, powertrain, optional factory equipment etc. or does the overall condition trumph what you prefer. Example, a mint straight rust free great original paint 6cyl 3 speed standard cab longbed stepside vs. a fair original paint, some minor dings and scrapes, rust holes or bubbles in the usual places, custom cab, V8, auto shortbed with big back window.

Lol , yes I have room for more. Ive actually sold off a few. Looking for something different , different colors , options etc. GMCs are higher on my list these days but they are getting tough. I wont buy a repaint or a bubbled rust truck unless its cheap. The truck Clyde posted is just too rough for me although I see great potential there and really like that it has factory air ! But , the pictures are vague and what I do see just doesn't get me excited to pursue it. The blue 62 mentioned above , I've tried to contact the owner several times and zero response . Yeah Id love to find that short fleet but they just don't come around when I'm ready . I'm looking at a clean 65 long fleetside right now , California truck , 283 auto , maroon and white original paint but its been taken apart to be modified and he stopped. Its in Canada and getting info on it has been super slow. Most likely wont get it at this rate. But to answer your question , I love them all , they just have to be right. I screwed up last year and hesitated on a super clean 61 panel all 100% original . Im also restoring a 1966 GMC 4x4 panel with 6470 miles on it. Was a civil defense truck but was so screwed up and missing too much of the Civil defense parts , and a few major dents that I just couldn't leave it as is. Rock solid 100% runs and drives like new. Should be done sometime next year.

Re: Whats for sale out there ?

Thanks for the response 60-66. I understand completely. I've come to realize most trucks had a much different life than most cars. Trucks were mainly used for work and work took its toll on them. They were not pampered and parked in garages which makes them even more difficult to find in the condition we expect them still to be in. We are always looking for the exceptions to the rule, but they are very few and very long in between. The configurations, colors, options take back seat the condition. That base model '62 GMC shortbed wideside with special order paint out of Reno comes to mind when I think of the type of truck your looking for!

Yeah , something that nice , was a bit pricey . I got to see this same 62 GMC in person back in February . Wow is that truck nice ! The details still preserved on it are incredible. Heres a few pictures of it.

Re: Whats for sale out there ?

Start looking on Facebook Marketplace. I am seeing more trucks on there than Craiglist.

Adjust your search distance as needed to find a nice.
