NSS Connector Question

Hi Guys

I am in the process of using the factory 2 connector NSS on the 4l60e in the 65. I have researched these pages and found some good information but wanted to ask some questions. So I have I bought the harness for the NSS and the colors don't match the schematic that I pulled from my research hear. Can someone take a look at my pics and tell me if the 4 corner wires are still right based on the two pics or I need to use something else and the colors don't matter?

Thanks

Re: NSS Connector Question

What exactly are you looking to do? The wire colors are correct on the first picture you posted as they were, not the way you have them written in. That could be maybe because you are using an aftermarket pigtail that has generic colors, not sure. The second pic you posted, I drew, and it is for the single plug NSS. If you are wanting to just use the NSS you have for back up lights, you need wires in pins C and F. For the starter relay, you would use pins G and E.

Thanks for the reply. I am using an aftermarket pigtail with the colors written down in the picture. I want to use it for BU lights and starter as you have said. I knew the second one was your drawing but thought it was the two connector style switch at the trans. Below is a pick of my harness
