Re: Back in the 67-72 game, 67 C10 SWB
My truck came with the same front plate on a trailer and took awhile to unload. Neighbors probably didn't appreciate it.

Pull all that crap out, it holds water and moisture if you have leaks. It will last way longer clean and dry. I am going on 14 years with the same. Just used SPI Epoxy to seal it up till she goes in for a redo.

Yea that plate was the first thing to go in the trash, as should all remnants of slavery.

Re: Back in the 67-72 game, 67 C10 SWB
Already done. I think I'll take care of the leak, just treat it, and patch it up with some old license plates. There was quite a bit of leaves packed in the cowl and vent so that may solve it.

I see a future "Previous owner hacks" thread in the works!
Hey, when it's my truck, I decide how it gets fixed! Good luck, Rg

good on you for trashing that symbol of slavery and treason. I like your idea of old license plates as patch panels. Very cool!
