Brake Booster Vacuum Hose Ideas

Help me solve this dilemma! So the nipple that the vacuum hose attaches to at the booster is too small for the correct size LS hose and I can't order the GM 15823207 nipple that works with the correct size hose because the hole in my booster is too big! My measurement of the end that goes into the booster is .792 and the GM one is much smaller. The perfect solution would be to find a nipple the is .792 on the booster side and .500 on the hose side but I don't know of any like that. Any ideas or suggestions for my dilemma? I don't know who makes my booster, it is a 8" dual diaphragm unit though. Name: Booster.jpg

Something like this and hide it behind the intake? Could even heat shring over it to hide it more? They have every size you could think of.

Looks like we may have the same booster. And it appears your missing the correct grommet. Here you go!

Re: Brake Booster Vacuum Hose Ideas

TA_C10, Our boosters look almost identical but the nipples are a little different.
I don't know if that grommet is big enough to fill the hole in my booster but I am certainly going to try it! It's worth a try for sure. Thanks!

Re: Brake Booster Vacuum Hose Ideas

Well it’s been almost 10 years for me and still works fine. I took Teflon tape and wrapped around the barbed end from booster to back of manifold to the thickness needed. Probably went a little larger then the inside diameter of the hose. Used a hose clamp. Can’t even see the Teflon tape inside if done right. Turned out clean.
