New ‘70 Chevy K10 SWB Fleetside from Ca.

Hello everyone! Been on here learning and looking for awhile, but finally got fully registered to where I can post a pick of our new beast.
Bought this for my wife, but I’m the wrencher!
1970 Chevy SWB K10 with a ‘72 402/turbo hydro/NP 205 combo on a 4’’ lift.
Seems to be original red vehicle from what I can tell (no spid).
Some of you may be familiar with the history of this truck and I am eager to learn more about it!
My thing has always been muscle cars (‘67 RS/SS Camaro & ‘70 RT/SE 440 Challenger) so much new info to learn here.
Mostly just been tuning, fixing what didn’t work (dash lights,gas gauge,horn,kick panel vent) and changing fluids etc...

Hoping to learn more of its history;

Sorry about the pic being sideways...

Welcome! That’s a killer shortie K10. Nice taste in muscle. I wish mine looked that good! Drop by the 4x4 section sometime you’ll fit right in!

Truck looks great! Welcome to the forum. From what I know the 400/402 was never offered in the 4x4's. None the less, the truck looks great! I all for changing it up, especially if it adds more get up and go. My wife says she will probably never drive my truck when I get it done even though it will be somewhat like the truck I had when we were first dating.

Thanks guys. Yes truck was originally a six banger as it has a KS vin. It is a factory short bed fleetside which seems pretty rare.
Thinking about converting to efi as its very old Holley is proving to be less than ideal.
