Easiest/cheapest way to lower?
I have a 67 C10 longbed and after replacing the old farm bumper with a chrome one I can really tell how much higher the back end is. I've never lowered a vehicle before and just wondering what's the easiest/cheapest way to drop the back end 3 or 4 inches

New, dropped springs would be quickest/easiest legit way.

Way back when I was younger we would cut coils and remove leaf's to drop one...cost-free
But you may need to do some work on the shocks.. Nowadays like Scoti says springs would be the ideal way

Drop blocks 1 1/2 then springs.

This is what I would do. I would try to keep as long as spring as possible so long as you don't run into scrub line issues.

While I agree w/you both that it's the better way, it's not the easiest/cheapest because you're paying for a drop spring plus a drop block & new U-bolts vs. just paying for a drop spring.

A good set of progressive 3” or 4” drop springs and spring retainers will cost about $200 or less. Get from summit and get free shipping.
If you aren’t kidding the front I would not go any more than 3” total in the rear.

Sorry about that. Working on my phone and autocorrect got me. If you aren’t lowering the front I’d not lower the rear more than 3” total.
