GM LSX Accessories

I currently have an L96 with all the stock brackets and accessories. Id like to have a more compact system with A/C without spending a trillion dollars on the billet ones.. Engine is going in a 67 with PB dropmember.

Is there any particular setup or brackets i can look into ?

Re: GM LSX Accessories

I dont know if you can get a more compact system...you shouldn't have any clearance issues except maybe the ac ..but you can get a ac relocation bracket fairly reasonable..it moves the comp up to about valve cover level..
What are your clearance issues? Just ac comp?

Re: GM LSX Accessories

I havnt put the motor in yet. But from just looking at it. Yes the AC sits really low on the L96 setup. I’ve seen some guys using the Ls3 water pump.. what are the pros of this ?

Re: GM LSX Accessories

I'm not sure of any other differences but the ls3 outlet is on the drivers side and pointing straight forward...
I've seen some run the ac comp in stock location and notch the frame for it..not ideal but it's been done
I would get the engine in place before you start swapping things out..then you'll see what you have to work with..

Ok. Planning to drop in the motor this week. Defitnetly not cutting the frame for anything.
