Re: gas gage

well, I spent time doing all the checks recommended and still no success. I got the wires off the sender in the tank, tested it with the new sender and got nothing. then I hooked the new sender direct to the gas gage and can make the needle go full to empty. so that makes me think I have a broken wire from the gage to the sender. tested that with an ohm meter and got nothing. so it looks like I may have to replace that wire. before I do that I will run a long jumper from the gage to the sender in the tank & see what happens. the saga continues ….
