1977 C10 Stepside Bardyard RestoMod
When I first got this old girl, she had been sitting out in a farm yard for a couple of years. Rusty and dry rot, mostly primer, and only 60k original miles. Now, 10 years after I rescued her, it's time to go Restomod.

Re: 1977 C10 Stepside Bardyard RestoMod
It's been 6 months since the project started and it's mostly done now. There's a few nit picky things like lightbulbs that are the wrong size and door bezels to install.
I'm skipping all the details and just giving you the before and after. I'll post more pics when it's all said and done. |

Re: 1977 C10 Stepside Bardyard RestoMod
Thanks for the interest in the project. It's actually taken 6 months to get the truck to this level. A lot of the time up front was finding parts to replace or upgrade. Starting off, this was a bottom of the line 77 Scottsdale. I searched for an LS engine/transmission pair to make sure I had all that.
First things first, pull the old engine, remove front clip, clean and prep, drop in LS engine/trans combo. |

Re: 1977 C10 Stepside Bardyard RestoMod
This is after a couple of weeks from the swap. There was a lot of rust in the front clip so a lot of parts are on order to patch or replace. It looks pretty mean as is. Needing a new radiator mount was a surprise.
