C30 brake lever removal.

Hello,
I am currently pulling the inline 6 and trans out of my '64 C30.
I am having a hard time figuring out how to pull the brake lever that rides on the passenger side of the trans.
Anyone with info on this I'd greatly appreciate any info.
I've looked through the assembly manual but find nothing.
Thanks

Re: C30 brake lever removal.

Does it not just bolt on?...a pic would help....I'm not sure how the Chevy is....on my IH it was bolted to 3 bosses on the side of the tranny and had a linkage going to the brake band from the lever

Re: C30 brake lever removal.

Here are some pics.
In the fourth pic is the bracket the brake lever sets against to hold the brake on.

Thanks for any help.

Re: C30 brake lever removal.

After being advised to brush off decades of dirt and grime I noticed a clip type retainer and pushed it off. Removed brake handle with ease.
Next is to push down/turn on the shifter handle to pull handle.

Re: C30 brake lever removal.

Thanks for the conclusion. Reading my way down that was my thought, "There has to be a clip under that crud"

Re: C30 brake lever removal.

Easy once "the trick to it" was learned.
