Door Window Guide??

So I was working on my speakers and found this at the bottom of my driver side door. I assume its a window guide. Thats my next big project is to replace all my window felt and get my windows working smoother. It looks like where the screws would go into it are rusted out. What is it called and where would I get a new one? I cant seem to find it on the usual websites.

Re: Door Window Guide??

That's the back side of the window track. It bolts to the rear side of the inner door panel.
I'm not sure what exactly it is called though

Re: Door Window Guide??

When I was looking for one probably around 10 years ago nobody sold them. I had to get them from a junk yard.

Re: Door Window Guide??

Aspen auto parts in Arizona is one suggestion.
May be the rear window guide, nest to the door latch.
Here is a door assembly instruction: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...94&postcount=3
And a picture showing 16-190 on it:

very helpful thanks Rod.
My uncle Robert Cline was a master chief served on the Carl Vinson in the late 90's and ran the damage control school at Treasure Island and Later in Chicago(I think) .
