Exhaust routing

Has anyone routed exhaust pipes on these trucks? Seems like everything is in the way.
I had these pipe sections and was wondering if this was the right way to route them. The bend goes over the axle, right next to the tire? On the driver side?
Just doesn’t seem right.

That makes a little more sense now. However, I am not sure if my spare tire carrier will be in the way.

Re: Exhaust routing

Here's how I routed mine. I have a tank that fits between the rails instead of the spare tire. They come off the headers, over the trans crossmember, through the trailing arm crossmember and up and over the rear end as shown. I also relocated my shocks outboard of the frame.

Re: Exhaust routing

Nice job Sledge. I see you even squeezed a crossover in there too. I never get tired of looking at pics of home built exhaust systems.

Homemade, all pieces from local parts store.
Sounds great, little on the loud side. Would be quieter if routed out the back, but I like it.
