Mech clutch linkage swap in ‘86?

I know this sounds backwards, but I had collected everything I needed to 4 speed swap my K5, but just got an ‘86 Suburban, and want to swap that instead.

Does anyone know for sure if the ‘77 mechanical clutch linkage pedal assembly will bolt into an ‘86, that would have had a hydraulic setup? ‘Burb has a 700r4 in it now. Like Mama always said, if it don’t fit, don’t force it, but I’m not against a little modification lol

I know hydro is the way to go but I have everything for a mechanical 4 speed swap, and would like to use what I have.

Thanks! -John

Don't see why it wouldn't, everything swaps the other way. Personally I like the mechanical stuff also
