Need help selecting header stud size
I’ve got an L94 in my 68 with speed engineering shorty headers. I’m wanting to get a header stud kit. Looks like there are four options from ARP:
1/4” wide flange 0.984” UHL, hex head 1/4” wide flange 0.984” UHL, 12 point head Or 3/8” wide flange, 1.181” UHL, hex 3/8” wide flange, 1.181” UHL, 12 point How do I know which I need? Last edited by ncsurveyor; 12-29-2020 at 11:45 PM. |

Re: Need help selecting header stud size
Its as simple as reading the product description.. probably 3/8 thick as its most common.. 1/4 flange would be a joke. Quality turbo manifols probably 1/2" thick
Hex... elementary 6 pointed 12 points.. looks fancy bout it What ever you prefer...
