Original exhaust sound
My truck is a 61' C10 with a 235 engine. I want it to sound 'correct' from an exhaust standpoint. What do you recommend for a muffler that will sound right? Want it to sound like I remember these trucks should sound! Thanks! gpk1961 Frisco TX

Re: Original exhaust sound
We can't tell you what you think is "right" or what "you remember". Are your memories of a stock truck? One with no muffler? A cherrybomb? Help us help you...

Re: Original exhaust sound
I used the Walker Exhaust .com website to order all original components including muffler. All components fit perfect and the exhaust sounds like a 1966 truck IMHO.

Re: Original exhaust sound
Sorry - did not clarify. The original way it sounded when it was new. The question really is where do you get the closest thing to an original muffler. Thanks as always! gpk1961 (I will check that link)
