Side trim removal

I have a '65 C10 pickup and need to remove the trim from doors and bed. How's the easiest way to do this? Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: Side trim removal

You need to push up on the trim, perpendicular to the body, then you will be able to pull one edge off the clip. Looking at the bare clips will help to understand what has to happen.

The short pieces and the tip of the spear are held by nuts from behind.

Re: Side trim removal

I should add that some of the thinner trim simply pulls out straight, the clips are like a spring.

And if you can push from behind that's better.
