Re: 69 C10 Bed Install Questions?
I have never seen rubber isolators in any of the trucks I've owned. GMCPauls does sell a set though if that is the direction you want to go. Might need to add a grounding strap between the bed and frame afterward if it affects your tail lights.

Re: 69 C10 Bed Install Questions?
Working on my bed now. I have never seen any isolators between the bed frame and truck frame. But I do plan on putting some isolators just to keep the rattling down.

If you add isolators, you might want to consider adding same thickness shims to cab and core support. Otherwise, body lines between cab and bed are goin to be off assuming cab/core supports are in good shape, if not going to be even worse.

Re: 69 C10 Bed Install Questions?
I have a 69 with wood floor. When installing floor I eliminated the bolts going through the floor into the cross members for a cleaner look. Will post a pic. Also installed the rubber shims

I don't put the rubber insulators on mine . It's all personal preference as I see it .

Re: 69 C10 Bed Install Questions?
Since you have a wooden bed make sure your diagonal dimensions are the same. Otherwise you will have installation issues when you put on the truck frame.

Re: 69 C10 Bed Install Questions?
I had to shim mine a bit to match the bed lines to the cab lines. No rubber insulation for me. I did the same as above and hid the box to frame bolts. No rattles here.
