Re: Pics of green trucks please

My truck is not painted yet but I found a place that will make up a spray can so I could test the color. The tailgate I am using was painted seamist jade. The seldom seen 61/62 color. I had originally planned on blue but I fell in love with this color and even more when I sprayed the sample on an old heater cover to test it.

That's going to look great on your truck.

I'm in the process of doing a budget restoration of my '66 factory Turquiose C20 Custom. Trying to get as much of a factory original look as possible. Your truck is gorgeous and the inspiration for my efforts.

Re: Pics of green trucks please

Keep em coming!
I'm noticing that the lion's share of these trucks are in west coast, rust-free climates. Mine too (hails from Tucson). Gotta like a 55 y/o rust-free truck!
Even though I just learned that the original color of my truck is Turquoise, I’m going to crash this party of green truck pics with a Turquoise truck when I get it painted

Re: Pics of green trucks please

The Green Machine! ‘63 C50, started out life in Caterpillar Yellow (“SPEC”, front wheels still yellow) as it was a service truck for Caterpillar Tractor in San Leandro. The next owner, my neighbor got it after the engine blew and made it a cattle hauler, at some point it was painted green probably out in a field! My plan is to fully restore it mostly stock but keep it green… trying to decide on Woodland Green - or I kinda like Seamist Jade Metallic - to keep the Green Machine moniker
