Any ideas to stop gas puking out when refilling?

Hello everyone, been dealing with this for a while and looking for ideas for when I will have the tank out soon. When I refill my 65 with the original behind the seat gas tank, gas will puke out when it gets full just as the pump stops. I know I have read where guys will just go really slow as it gets full and I have tried that too but still make a mess. This causes the cab to have a gas odor for the next day or two after refilling. I would love it if there is something I can do so that the pump shuts off when full but no fuel pukes out like on a newer car, any suggestions? I'm going to have the tank out here in the next couple weeks to replace the seat and install seat belts, trying to plan for some kind of mod when I have easy access to the fuel neck etc. Has anyone tried installing a baffle in the fuel neck that will allow the unleaded nozzle in with just enough room for clearance? Would this activate the shut off on the pump but not allow fuel back out? I just replaced the fuel tank so I have no plans to switch to an under bed tank. Thanks in advance.

The thread I link below is more about adding a return line, but it may give you some ideas. Basically you need something to let air escape as the tank fills up.

Before I switched I always made sure the nozzle was all the way in and the pump was not running wide open as I filled it.
