wiring?
does that wiring harness in the engine compartment just plug in to the fire wall if so where would you get one and about how much money are we looking at?

Yes it plugs into the bulkhead connector. They are available.

There are two seperate wiring harness's. One is for the front lighting group and the other is for the engine. Most dealers stock both of the harness's. Sorry, I have no idea what the cost is. It probably depends on the year of your truck and the options you have.
