60-62 vs 63-66 radiator difference
Just wondering if anyone on here can help me out. I have a 1960 Apache that I am in the middle of a LS swap on. From what I can tell the radiator is different on a 60-62 than it is on a 63-66. My question is…will a radiator from a 63-66 bolt into the 60? There are a ton of really nice LS swap radiators for 63-66, but very few options for the 60-62. My hope was that I could get a 63-66 unit and it will bolt into my 1960. I had hoped someone could chime in before I buy one, as they are typically very expensive. It seems like the 63-66 units are wider, and the 60-62 units have a flange along the edges that they bolt to.

Re: 60-62 vs 63-66 radiator difference
The 63-66 radiators use upper and lower cradle style mounts. The 60-62 bolts directly to the core support.
First picture is how my 63 mounts at the bottom and second is how it mounts on top. The fan shrouds are different too.

Re: 60-62 vs 63-66 radiator difference
Is your preference a 60-66 style radiator for your LS swapped Apache? If not, Northern Radiator #209635 (26" x 19") dual pass is an exact fit for your truck. Be Cool Boneyard 35202 is too. I've been running this set up for about 3 years and 8k miles with zero issues.

Re: 60-62 vs 63-66 radiator difference
Thanks for the help guys! I'm going to do a little more research and see what I come up with. It looks like I would need to get the support on the bottom and the bracket on the top if i want to go with the 63-66 style. I called a few of the custom radiator shops, and they do make the LS swap radiators, they typically just are not listed on the web site. I think I am going to go with an Entropy Radiator.

Re: 60-62 vs 63-66 radiator difference
Have a chanpion LS swap radiator in my 64, they just moved the inlet over to passenger side and resized inlet/outlet for LS also added a steam port.
Liked it b/c it has the built in trans cooler, lifetime warranty and was rated for 600hp...probably be overkill but wasn't but a few dollars more than 2 row.
