Re: LS turbo advice needed...
It takes up one of your already limited input's with the term x, only real advantage would be for data logging to see if you have a fuel supply issue under load.

Re: LS turbo advice needed...
the fuel pressure doesn't take up any inputs, it is nice to have for fuel pressure monitoring, you can also setup a safety with it. I don't think the term x uses the fuel pressure for any fueling calculations. A $10-50 sensor and some table scaling you could have actual pressure displayed is pretty easy.
Are you running a boost reference 1:1 fuel pressure regulator? |

Mine has the factory 2001 truck intake with the vacuum regulator and return line.

Re: LS turbo advice needed...
it would probably be helpful to have the fuel pressure reading just to keep an eye on it. i believe there's an adapter fitting on the market for the fuel pressure schrader valve to 1/8" npt thread.

Re: LS turbo advice needed...
My bad, I've been looking at so much different holley stuff lately I don't know why I forgot the term x has the provisions for it built into the harness. So with that being said like akdg87 said, pick up a sensor, I recommend looking into low dollar motorsports for a sensor vs an over priced holley sensor. It's a handy thing to have for sure.

Re: LS turbo advice needed...
Gentlemen,
Only just discovered there is an LS section on the board so a bit late to the party! Unlike the OP I am new to Both LS swaps and turbo but have been learning as much as I can over the past few years so when I started back on my truck last year I had the majority of parts and knowledge to get to the burn outs and ice cream stage as quickly as possible.. If you have not watched Matts series yet I would highly recommend it https://youtu.be/X1v7b3ewAUg Also watch this. https://youtu.be/0NWLJt6SFwU Bit out of date now but it is what I am using as my build recipe Look forward to following your build. P.
