Plans for DBW throttle mount

Hi all,

Long time listener, first time caller to this particular part of the board, looking for a little help.

Let me preface this post by reminding you I am in the UK so shipping, duty, tax etc makes buying one 'off the shelf' a no.

Does anybody have a set of plans to make a bracket for the DBW into a 66?

Reason I am asking is that I am waiting for the weather to improve so I can paint the floors on Woody so want to get on with something but don't want to stick the cab back on 'its feet' and measure it all up.

Any help appreciated.

P.

You might try this guy. He made one for my 68 and it was a work of art. It was a little high, so I wrote to him and he made me another one that was 2" lower. Great guy t deal with.

Not the same as your 66 but here's a pic of the one I built for a 80 Camaro. Had a about $15 USD in materials.

Re: Plans for DBW throttle mount

Thank you Mr Short Box!

I am looking for a 'filler job' whilst I wait for the weather to warm up enough so I can paint the cab floor of my truck.

Looks like making a pedal bracket will have to wait until the cab is the right way up again!

Nice work there by the way.
