Lockup converter recommendations 700r4

Mild cam 350 in a 62 SWB.

Lowered on 29” tires. 308 rear gear.

Installed the TCI lockup kit, and found out that the converter that was installed is NOT a lockup converter….so need to install one.

Any recommendations? Just a daily/cruiser. Nothing crazy and no plans on power adders.

Re: Lockup converter recommendations 700r4

Happy with the 2500 Hughes converter in my '77 (snotty cam).

Running the stock converter with the stock-cam LQ4 in my '61 (not running yet).

I'd probably recommend something around 2200 to 2400, but you'd be wisest to contact a converter company and get their opinion - they do this for a living.

I have an FTI and have been happy with it.
