Air intake setup for 1953
Hi:
So, the next challange is coming up with an air intake. I was wondering what you guys are doing for 47-59 models. As you can see in the pcitures there is not much room from throttle body to my fan setup. I guess one option is to goo with thinner fan but still... I also doon't know how much under the hood clearance would be since the hood is off. Pictures would be great. Thanks

Here's mine on my 49 The air filter is held captive by round 'tray' mounted to the frame rail. This set up puts the air filter fairly low but this truck will never see rain or water
