I like the sneak peeks!
really glad to see the white and flat black in the grill area as well - too many people leave it out... awesome to see the progress you are making

Re: SkinnyG's '61 Apache
It's not yellow.
Thanks. Covid2 for me, was just a couple days of chest pain and that was about it. MrsSkinny and SkinnyKid2 were down for six days, SkinnyKid1 got off easy. Truck is out of the booth, bed et al are in the now shortened booth. Was hoping for primer today, but I seem to try to pack two days of work into one day, and not winning.

Sprayed Raptor on the skid strips
And the inner fender I didn't do, because reasons. And the bed side inner fenders. And Teaser 4 While I'm using a supplied air system, I am finding even a bit of the fumes are bothering me more and more. I have Asthma, and I think I'm reaching my limits with paint. If I do painting again, it will likely be outside only, not an impromptu booth such as this.

Re: SkinnyG's '61 Apache
Thanks for the updates and pics! Look forward to seeing it out of your booth and get the full view of the fresh paint. This has been a fun build to keep up with!

Re: SkinnyG's '61 Apache
Well, the spray booth is down and gone.
I ran the leaf-blower through the shop a couple times to get rid of all the dust. Probably brightened the shop 50% just by getting the dust off the lights. Once I get the bed on the truck, I'll post a pic. I'm not motivated to do a whole lot, though. My goal was to get it all painted by the end of the summer. I did that. But I hurt everywhere, and I need a break for my mind before I start the next school year. Soon, though, soon.

Oh heck yes, that's spectacular. All that sanding led to a great finish

Re: SkinnyG's '61 Apache
That logo reminds me of design features that were only on Canadian cars, like Acadian or Frontenac. They were kinda like US cars, but different.

Re: SkinnyG's '61 Apache
Windshield ordered locally for $400 - cheaper than online, and no extra shipping.
I have a rear bumper coming and a few other pieces, the last on my list of parts to get. Beyond that, I'm still trying to just relax and refresh for the school year. Hahahahaha. Yeah.
