I have been thinking about 285/70's on a 10" wheel. I want a little rake after I lower it, and the tire should fill up those huge wheelwells.

wider tire
Hi folks, 86 Red Bowtie was kind enough to put my pics up in 73 Blazer site. Thanks go out to him.
Running 2556015 Dunlops on front and 2756015 on rear, all on 8" burb rallies. I have 3- 1/2" wide Corvette trim rings. You can see the vette rings hide more wheel. I didn't have the knock offs on here as I gave the centres and k/o to my daughters boyfriend for his 67 C10. I have my NOS centres on and last night I put all new nuts on to replace rusty ones. Tomorrow night I will put on my new knock offs after I pick them up at auto store. They came last week but they were the wrong ones. The taillights were made by me. The gas door is a 1996 Lumina van. Real easy swap to hide round gas holes. Any other questions, let me know? Doug |

wider tire
Thanks Tyler
Loweredd - Back up lights are halogens on license frame. Were front driving lights but I had a better use. She is lowered 5 and 5 with coils, spindles, c notch and flip kit. Belltech shocks all around. Doug |

I have 275 / 60 / 15's on 15 x 8 Weld wheels at all four corners, and a set of 325 / 50 / 15 Drag Radials on 15 x 10 Weld wheels so all matches. Run the Drag Radials until the snow hits, and they are not too big for the truck.

Where did you get the taillights? I've never seen them without the backup lights in the lenses. Maybe it's a Canada thing.

TO LOWEREDD.....I made the lights myself. I bought 4 lenses with trim. I cut the top third off one and the bottom third off the other. I glued them together and covered the joint with an extra piece of trim. I did 1/3 and 2/3 as the housing has the same portions to house the tailight and backup. I then made both bulbs work as tail and stop. I bought a stainless license frame with halogen driving lights and put it on the back for back ups (BRIGHT).

TO RAYS68 - The mirrors are from a surplus store up here. $15.00 a pair. Were black plastic and we ainted them to match.
TO N2TRUX AND JONBOY - Thanks. I had redone the dash and the pad in grey pad and added a new GM, NOS gauge package. I only have stock grey seats right now. Will be doing 4 buckets in ivory or light beige leather as soon as I can find four. Will do the rugs and dash pad over again in cocoa brown to compliment the ivory. Will do the doors panels and rear panels in a a blend of the two colours. The engine is a stock 350 with some chrome stuff, not pretty yet. Project for this winter. Let me know if you still want pics? |

i prefer the 31x10.50x15, they seem to fill up the wheel well a bit better but still have the slitly wider traction stance
