wish me luck guys
if you all like me spending money on my truck and showing it off in my pictures, wish me luck/pray for me to get my hopefully new job.
the school district i was interning earlier this year has a job opening. i have an interview on aug. 11th. everyone there that i would be working with, wants me to get the job, including one of the persons doing the interview i would say i have probably a 90% chance of getting it, i'm hoping. first thing i would do is buy a new car, since i'm selling the geo. after that, i dont know, what would you buy for your truck if you were 19, making decent money(enough to bag my truck with 1 pay check) and living at home, with few bills?? I CAN FINALLY GET MY DENT FIXED!!!!! and tires.. and gears/posi airbags??? fuel injection??? super charger??? |

Good luck with the job Eric!
Fuel injection is fun, but paying for high performance parts for fuel injection isn't!

Grand Prix GT part is nice. But I can't go for the supercharger part of the P. GTP's are supercharged right? I had a Buick Park Avenue that was supercharged. It sucks having to buy premium gas for a V6. Besides all that, them things torque stear something awful being front wheel drive. Save some money and go for the regular GT.

gtp of bust!
actually, i've been looking around at lots of different cars on autotrader. cant decide what i want. needs to be something decent on insurance too. i would love an impala SS, but they are lots of money. i was also looking at around a 94-96 bmw 325is. i dont know how insurance or repairs are gonna cost on that though |

Yeah, I hate you now...
I'm stuck working at Panera Bread for 6.75/hr. hoping to get a job at a computer shop, but probably won't make much more money, but it will be a much nicer job and hopefully help me get my foot in the door somewhere else.

oh yeah, the "bags with one pay check" is true. but we get paid once a month. i think salary wise its about $34,000 a year starting, including benifits(dental, health, etc..) hourly wise it is something like 15.72 an hour |

Good luck with the job, Eric. Is it at Mid-Del? I thought you said you were interning there at one point.

yeah, mid-del. the interning was part of a program with the votech. first year they had it. i actually had a part in creating it. instead of being at school half the day, i would be working there from 12:30-4:30, getting paid and getting an A in votech |

I would say a savings account or college tuition.
Why not get your own place with the extra cash? Buy a small house while interest rates are still low. I hate to break it to you, but these trucks are not great investments...that doesn't mean I am going to stop spending money on mine, though.
