Best Dipstick for a 350?
Searched through Summit and there seems to be 3-4 regular ol' dipsticks available for the passenger side, but a lot of the reviews are the same. I.E won't fit well, chrome flakes off, full mark isn't in the right place.
Anyone have any recommendations? Finishing up an engine install in my 1-Ton and the tube and stick were missing on the core engine I had rebuilt (engine is a 1980). |

Get one from GM. Should have them still available.

Re: Best Dipstick for a 350?
it should all match the pan your using or option for the pan year your using. Once you know the right dipstick marks how long tube for the panis you can use any dip stick when not too short too long and Remarked show the correct level.
For example: 350 there might be one 5 qt pan but 3 or 4 tube & dip sticks mostly to make easier to route the dip stick away for owner, over different car truck motor bays.
