Retrosound Radio in a 60-63 Dash
I am in quite a quandary trying to get a radio into my 63 truck without hacking up the dash. As most are aware, the 60-63 trucks have a different radio cut-out from the 64-66's. The cut-out corners are rounded. The one-size-fits-all radios don't work for the 60-63's. Retrosound seems to have a radio that actually looks like it is designed specifically for the 60-63 dash cut-out.
Has anyone tried a Retrosound radio in a 60-63? The recommend the "Denver" model. Thanks, Cris |

SirJim:
Thanks, I have talked to Gary about doing an original with new guts. But it’s a pretty expensive route to go. I am guessing I’d have around $700 into the radio including buying a donor unit. The look is really nice though, exactly what I am after. If anyone has suggestions on where I could find a good donor, let me know. I have been keeping my eyes on eBay and the candidates on there are pretty far gone and $$$. |
