Does anyone know of a source for

A Harmonic Balancer and a three Grooved pulley for power steering to hook up power steering and air-conditioning for my 230 1963 C-10? I have been looking and can't seem to find one. I've done some upgrades converting to power steering and new air-conditioning with defroster. Or a good machine shop that knows our trucks? Thanks in Advance
Pete

Re: Does anyone know of a source for

It might be of some help , here in south africa what is being done sometimes is the 2 groove balancer (mostly on the 250 engines) and then taking a sbc short water pump crank pulley and bolt to inline damper, but needs a spacer between pulley and damper inner hub as its sunk in a bit, giving the 3 groove setup. There is some dampers thats flat in front but i cant say on brands.
Some 292 dampers is 3 groove but cant say on which models used them and some there is a bigger space between the grooves with 292 damper .

Cheers.
Adriaan.

That sounds brilliant Adriaan. I don't know why I didn't think of that. I was starting to think I should've put a V-8 in, but want to keep it original as possible. What an ingenious solution. Now where do I send the All-Black Shirt to? (my wife is Kiwi) hahaha. To American readers NZ All Blacks And SA Springboks are like Yankee/Red Sox, Lakers/Celtics you get the drift.

Yeah, i'll pass on the shirt. Will most probably get shot over here if i wear it. 😄.

Over here the chevy inlines were main stream power for gmsa. 153, 230 and 250.
On the rhd here the power steering pump sits above waterpump hose outboard of dizzy. Using the add on pulley on damper. Will go look if i have a pic.
My 63 was 283 when my buddy had it, he swapped over to 250 inline six.
Was standing when i got it and motor had a bearing knock and a broken piston.
So pulled it and did pontiac 455 unit. Its nice but now 3 yrs later sometimes i think i should have left it inline power. At least my other gm's has inline power.

Cheers.
Adriaan.

Re: Does anyone know of a source for

I was thinking about swapping but when I opened it up everything was good. I changed out the gaskets and buttoned her up and put it back in after paint. A photo would be great! Thank you again. I had to say the shirt stuff, the voices made me. We go over to Canada shopping (1KM from here) and the wife gives the Aussie store manager you know what about Rugby. I love the game, not to big over here.

Re: Does anyone know of a source for

Will check tomorrow when i'm the garage, think one of mine is hanging on the wall, maybe it shows a gm stamping on there.

Only reason i took mine off is more space for bigger blades on fan.
I spaced my ps pump back to align with front v on damper. And rear the wp and alt.
On our relabeled opel commodore they used add on pulley for ps. Then front v on damper ran wp and alt. Had a smaller shorter waterpump pulley so they could speed up the 5 blade fan, but blade width was not big. Rear v on damper unused.

Cheers.
Adriaan.
