What's it worth? 68 C-10 Panel Truck
Hi Guys,
I'm thinking about selling my Panel Truck to make room for my next project. I have owned it for a little more than 3 years (I believe I'm the third owner) and have repaired or replaced almost everything on it. It was originally a contractors work truck so there is a lot of patina mixed with primed areas where I replaced sheet metal. I will try to keep this short for now because it would take many pages to include all of the work that has been done to this truck. I have been out of the loop as far as what it is worth and so I need some help before I list it for sale. Some of the details: 1968 C-10 77,7250 miles Not sure if that is original miles or not. Color is Vermillion metallic body with a white roof. Original 396 Big Block with 4 bbl. carb. stock except for an Edlebrock Performer intake and a HEI conversion. 325 H.P. I believe. New Process 4 speed with granny low first. The 2 to 3 shift is sometimes tricky lately but gets better as it warms up. New clutch. Power steering added Power Brakes new CPP front disks and stock drums rear. CPP drop spindles 2-1/2" plus 2" Cpp drop springs= 4-1/2" front static drop. CPP 4" heavy duty drop springs in rear plus 2" drop blocks= 6" static drop in rear. I also added Air Lift helper air bags in the rear. CPP C Notch and adjustable panhard bar. The entire front suspension was rebuilt with Moog parts. ALL tie rod ends bushings idler arm, Pittman arm, sleeves, etc. New hi torque starter with heat shield. New Brothers gas tank and sending unit. Pypes Stainless steel true duel exhaust. Stock Dana 60 (kinda rare) Posi. 4 new Monroe shocks. Any rust on the original body sheet metal was removed and replaced with new metal. 2 new front fenders and wheel wells. New complete one piece floor pan. New Rockers and outer door skins plus new inner lower door bottoms. Radiator support. One piece plywood rear floor with new bolt kit. All new rubber body mount kit. Every rubber seal and gasket for doors and windows is new (4 doors windshield, vent windows rebuilt, etc.) Interior was updated as well. Stock factory gauges with Tach and vacuum gauge. All gauges and bulbs work properly. I also added an aftermarket oil pressure and Temp gauge under the dash. New dash pad. New black carpet with padding plus extra jute insulation and Dynamat sound deadener. The seats are nice power adjustable buckets from a late 90's truck that also has a center jump seat that folds down into a storage console. All exterior and interior chrome handles and cranks are new. All of the chrome on the front grill area is new too (hood trim, headlight trims, grille hoops, fender eyebrows) Truck runs great, starts right up without issue. No smoke, no leaks. All of the major work has been done. While the entire floor from the rear bumper to the firewall was cut out, Every inch of the underside including the frame was sanded down and treated with Eastwood rust converter, rust encapsulator and then rust proofing. So guys, Whats it worth??
