Hi my friend. It is a new paint cover that is not sticky at all. I recommend it when you do things inside or outside the car.

Looking great! How was the windshield install? What did you use for trim and the gasket? Any issues?

There is a mistake that many people make. The gasket must match the WINDSHIELD MOLDING . For example a 72 model gasket must have a 72 WINDSHIELD MOLDING . If you install a 70 gasket with a 72 WINDSHIELD MOLDING the windshield will not install correctly.

You are correct about certain years of gaskets and trims. Just wondering if you went with new or used, and if new, what brands? I am trying to see if there is a product that people like and works well to have the stainless trim.
Thanks, you should be proud of that jimmy!

Re: MY NEW JIMMY 1972 4x4

There is definitely nothing like GM gasket so I bought a New one and the WINDSHIELD MOLDING from LMC . Installation was successful and easy. The problem is only in gasket All companies that sell The same company ……………….. ( Precision ) My experience with it was bad it is stiff, heavy and not easy to ride. So I used the original.

Re: MY NEW JIMMY 1972 4x4

I am almost done with the project. I had some minor issues but they have been resolved. Now I'm going to start the new engine for the first time and install the cooler and other stuff.

I was looking for the right screws for the seat holes and tried them out.
