Its not a chevy truck question its a van

hi everyone!

everyone has always been so kind and generous with their help and knowledge but I also don't to offend anyone by asking this but the question is not about GM trucks.

So I have a 1986 Toyota Pickup short bed regular cab 2 wheel drive its a like a truck my dad had which i learned to drive on at the age of 7 it's a newer one than my dad had but same engine and transmission. They are getting rare as well and I was going to put an LS engine in it to make it faster hahaha. It looks funny parked next to my 59 Chevy Apache but hey it's a gread daily. I found a 79 GMC shorty van but don't have the room for both the Toyota and the Van you guys know which of the two (Shorty Van or the Toyota pickup) is more rare? or which is a better idea to get/keep?

Again my apologies for the non GM truckness of this question

Well, the yota looks cool, but so does the van.

I think the van is going to be more practical because it has more weight capacity and is covered to boot.

Gas mileage will be lower for the van, so that is about the only advantage I can give the yota.

Finally GM always wins in my book.

I do not fit comfortable in any older Toyota truck, so the van for sure. Even the vans are not great to me. my size 14s and my 6'1" status make it not super roomy. The old Toyota's were reliable, except for rusting worse than average, but the cramped confines and poor seat position and shaping just make them to uncomfortable. AS far as rarity, both were produced in high numbers and both were beat to death, so they would run in about the same category to me.

Ya I agree I’m 6’ tall and have size 12 feet the Toyota isn’t so bad but my 59 Chevy Apache wheel use to cut into my belly before I went to the gym and lost weight lol. Some women workout to fit in their beautiful wedding dress I went to the gym to fit into my awesome super cool (getting buried in Chevy truck). 🤣
