I don't know what's up with my computer. Here's the story on the Blazer,... I purchased it back in May. I knew of this Blazer for about the last 10 years,... but never saw it. The PO was building a new house and decided to sell. Almost bought "BigBlock73's" 2wd Blazer but this one came along,... and I couldn't pass it up. Appears to be original paint above the mouldings. '71 2wd CST, 350, auto, A/C, tilt, factory tach, (PO installed), original interior. I have rebuilt the entire front end, installed ECE's 4/6 drop, new: battery, fuel pump, rear bumper, master cylinder, rotors, brakes, and wheel cylinders. Just rolled out of the garage for these pics. I will try to post more pics.

PO installed steering wheel. One rip in the driver's seat, and worn original carpet. Back seat looks like new.

Blazer originally came from Iowa. The "Dirks Chevrolet" sticker is still on the tailgate. A retired couple purchased it new to pull their camper. (That's the reason for all the "mirror" holes in the doors.) It still had a reciever hitch on it when I got it. As the story goes on,... this couple donated the blazer to a church for an auction,... and the owner before me bought it from the church in 1995. He told me it sat inside from 1995 to 2003. When he moved it sat uncovered outside for about a year. I have alot of paper work. So how much of that can I believe? Looks like I'm the 4th owner. I think it's original,... but it doesn't matter to me if it's not. Just glad to finally have another one.

The previous owner paid $6500.00 in 1995. (he's a 2wd blazer fan also) I paid alot less. He called a mutal friend and asked him if he priced it too "cheap", when I showed up to look at it with a cash, a trailer, and told him I would take it. I was so excited I didn't even try to get a better deal. I still have to get it aligned and exhaust on. More pics to come. Still would like to have a single wall top,... if anyone has a nice one.

Wow, sounds like you got a great deal! I wish I could stumble across a deal like that. Of course, my wife would kill me if I got a third Blazer!
