getting ready for the buildup

Hey everybody. I know it's been a while, but there's a reason for that. I don't drive my truck in the summer. Yup, it's my winter vehicle.

Anyway, so far this summer, I got married, just found out friday that we're having our first baby, and got absolutely nothing done with the supertruck. That's all about to change. Unless I want to drive the T-bird all winter long. I will be avoiding that though.

The list before the snow flies:
-Swap that box over
-find clean doors at the jy
-new cab corners
-paint it
-swap the good bumper over
-swap the cloth bench in place of the ripped vinyl
-swap in the 350 and propane goodies

Yup, it's a long list. Anyway, I'm looking at having most of it done by a shop, as I don't have the time or manpower to do it. (picking up engines and boxes without a picker isn't something I want to try)

Wish me luck!

Well, I'm looking forward to another season of good company here on the C10 boards. And stomping on a 350 in stead of an old 305.

Thanks man. I can't WAIT to get that 350 in there. It's looking like next week for the lump, and late next week, or early the week after, that I get the boxes done, and I've got to get the cab corners put on between boxes.

And the best news of all, Ange has agreed to keeping the Supertruck instead of selling it before the move.

I dropped the 350 off at the shop last night. All the gaskets (exc. head) plugs etc. are being installed today or tomorrow. I've got to go stick it on the stand I brought over after I remove the torque converter. They're going to paint her chevy orange for me too, rather than the rebuild aqua that's on it now.

Problem is, my T-bird is acting up again, and doesn't want to run very good. I can't work on the truck if I can't drive my car. After a hard run, it's stumbling a lot, and there's oil on the garage floor, as well as a black residue pouring out the exhaust. I'm hoping it's just an overfueling problem again, since it's running quite rich. (black smoke and reeks of fuel)
