I recently purchased a 72 S/W C-10 BB which had been lowered. It was done wrong!!! The cost to corect it has been high. To lower it the guy cut 1 1/2 coils out of the front springs. When it is done this way you hit the bump stops and the front end can not be correctly aligned. I will have to get 2 1/2 inch droped spindels and then a set of 1 inch drop coil springs. The back of mine has the right droped spings but I needed to install shock relocation hardware a new panhard rod and then I had the control arms stiffened and poly bushings. All of this stuff can be purchased in a set or a peice at a time from Early Classic Enterprises. Or you could just air bag it. Good luck.

1-3 inches = springs (cheapest @ about $100) or 2.5" dropped spindles avail (about $250)
or combine the two for about 4-5 inches of drop in the front. Rear drop coils and blocks are avail. this was my STATIC drop on my suburban... 2.5" drop coils, and cut 4" drop coils totaling 6.5" of drop and a really crappy ride |

I ordered my 4/6 drop from Early Classic last week
http://www.earlyclassic.com/ I have never heard one good thing about AIM parts. Many people have had issues with them on both quality and customer service |
