Exclamation seats

So if I am reading this right the crew cab, suburban, and blazer seats will not fit in the standard cab truck. I dont mind drilling holes in the floor but I do mind hacking up the frames of a seat to make it fit. Where can we get the correct brackets to mount the seats?

Lightbulb here's an Idea

Can you use two sets of bench seat brackets to put in the bucket seats?

don`t know what year they are from but my buddies `78 blazer has the same ones. i`m gonna put them in my blazer when it`s done and go to a floor shift in it. i`m gonna keep this truck on the column and go back to the new recovered bench i have. i kind of like the old benches, but the buckets fit and look really good.

The seat brackets that mounts on to the cab floor which the seat frame mounts to are different. You will need to find the seat brackets from a bucket seat equipped truck, which are pretty hard to find. There were a set on Ebay a month ago, that fetched nearly $200! Then you can use either a Blazer bucket seat or Suburban bucket seat which are basically the same except some have folding arm rests. You might get some Summit bucket seat sliders and rails. SUM-G1151 and SUMG1152. Mount the rails to the cab floor and the sliders to the seats and your done.

Those summit brackets are nothing but a couple flimsy pieces of angle and still doesnt acommodate the floor rise. I guess you could modify them some how.

seats

I wish I could find some one who makes the stock brackets aftermarket. I have been catching hang with seats lately. It looks like I am going to have to recover the bench seat instead of going with buckets like I wanted to.
