Removing Shifter from CM465
Hey guys, how does a guy remove the shifting arm from a CM465? I was told that you had to put it in a certain gear and twist or something... I'm planning to pull the motor from the truck with the tranny still attached...

Put it in neutral.Push down on the metal ring around the wigglestick base, and turn it CCW,when it releases the stick will just slip right out.

I use channel locks to get them off so i can grab it push it down and turn it >> Sometimes you will need to soak the area with penetrating blaster or AeroKroil and possibly tap the channelocks with a hammer to bust it loose... At least that works for me when there stubborn.
