What all came with the skid plate option? Did it include the fuel tank skid plate? Thanks all.

Do you have the skid plate option listed on your options list? I have the skid plate option on my options list, but I only have a T/C skid plate. My previous owner put a gigantic hitch on though, and I think he would have had to remove the fuel tank skid plate to put it on.

My 72 has the skid plate option and has the transfer case and gas tank plates.

I'm guessing my previous owner removed it and tossed it in order to fit this hitch that he put on.

Yep, that's what mine says too, but the tank plate is long gone. The p.o. must have removed it to put this monster of a hitch on. It looks like the tank plate would have interfered with it. Well, I guess that one is long rotted away in a dump somewhere, along with the inside spare tire carrier that he removed to put some shelf contraption in the back. It was a one owner truck and the owner passed away. I asked when I bought it if they had the spare tire carrier and maybe something that looks like a big steel pan that fits over the gas tank. I thought it should of had one since it had the T/C plate. They looked, but his son said he vaguely remembered some parts going to scrap pretty close to when the truck was brand new. Oh well. What can you do. If anybody has a tank skid plate they would like to part with, let me know.

I bought a gas tank skid plate from 6772 king/Sean and put it on my Blazer. I'm very happy with the quality and fit. My Blazer did not originally have one, so I had to drill the holes in the frame.

They looked really nice in the pictures I saw. I ordered one. Since the last original tank skid plate that I tried to buy via Ebay went for $187.50, I'm excited to get Sean's and check it out.
