How heavy is a Long bed
I'm going to remove the bed from my longstep and replace it with a fleetside.
How many guys will be required to remove it? By the way my longstep bed will be available soon. The bed has good fenders and steps. ------------------ 1968 GMC with a 305 V6 and 400 automatic transmission. http://community.webshots.com/user/mrgmc68

Two guys can lift it but getting it lifted high, like over wheels can be tough. Better have 4 buddies to ensure success with minimal body damage. lol

That's funny you should say that. When I asked a friend of mine to ride with me to pick up the replacement bed he only asked for beer.
It truly is liquid gold!!!

GMC-
Me and my father lifted my wooden long bed stepside off no problem, and he is not as strong as he used to be. You shouldn't have much problem. Good luck! ------------------ 67 Chevy C20 LB Stepside, 350 4-bolt with goodies.
